Asher Abraham LinkedInMy name is Asher Abraham and this is my blog about staying pluggedin to Intentional Living through great information, people, and technology that can help you achieve better relationships, results, and lifestyle.

I write abut Business, Sales, LinkedIn, Personal Productivity, Entrepreneurship, Marketing, Health & Fitness, Personal Development, and more… – mostly based on my personal  and professional life experiences as a Software Localization Professional, Husband, Father, Entrepreneur, etc. (Much of the information I get from successful leaders and books I love to listen to such as: The Startup of You, The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, The 4 Hour work week, Platform, EntreLeadership, etc.).

I invite you to subscribe to my emails (on the right bar) and follow me on social media for updates on practical and executable LinkedIn tips, ideas, success principles, productivity tools,  advanced sales strategies, and inspiration.

My mission is to live life to the fullest, teach, and inspire others to do the same. To help people be more strategic in their career or business, so that they can achieve more in less time, and have time for what they love to do most.

This famous quote sums up how I approach my life:

“The master in the art of living makes little distinction between his work and his play, his labor and his leisure, his mind and his body, his information and his recreation, his love and his religion. He hardly knows which is which. He simply pursues his vision of excellence at whatever he does, leaving others to decide whether he is working or playing. To him he’s always doing both.”

More Details…

Aside for my amazing wife and family, I love learning, technology, fitness, live music, world travel, interesting people, business, and most of all, serving my clients.

I’ve been serving clients of all types since age 16 (I’m 30 now – 2013). So I’ve been practicing, learning, and honing my skills over the past 15 years. That is over 20,000 hours engaging in sales activities, that taught me a thing or two about ‘modern day’ sales, marketing, and living powerfully. You can’t succeed in sales by living a mediocre life. Sales isn’t a job, it’s a lifestyle of serving people.

Starting out in direct sales with Vector Marketing, and later on as a B2B sales professional for Liberty Mutual Insurance, and Net-Translators (we provide the best localization services to global software and medical device companies.), Over the years, I’ve sold millions of dollars worth of goods and serviced and served thousands of loyal customers in several industries. As a result, I’ve been featured in public media multiple times (WSJ, NY Post, and College Bound Magazine).

“Asher Abraham also has fond memories of his Cutco years. He sold the knives throughout his four years at Queens College, in New York, and earned more than $100,000 one year, and he learned a lot in the process, he says. “The first time my [Cutco] manager asked me to speak at a weekly meeting, I thought, ‘Who, me? Talk to everybody? No way,’ ” he recalls. But he did it, and after doing it over and over, it became second nature, he says. He graduated in 2006 and left Cutco a year later for a job at Liberty Mutual, selling commercial insurance.”

Regardless of what we do in life, I believe we are all serving someone with something – a product, a service, an idea, or our skills and talents. My sales and business experience has exposed me to what is possible for my life through it; Starting in sales years ago, allowed me to support myself from a young age as a Freshman in college, and create an exciting lifestyle. I met thousands of amazing people, traveled all over the world for sales conferences and incentive vacations, I even purchase my first real estate property in New York during my senior year of college at the age of 22. Best of all, I found a way to grow and develop myself at a fast paced by taking consistent action – lessons that no course, or text book can teach.

I realized that the real value of sales as a profession isn’t just the value you provide to clients and the opportunity for incredible income or recognition, but the skills, personal development, and success oriented thinking that is developed in the process.

Learning from the best programs, leaders, coaches and mentors is my lifestyle. I’m a student first, and make it a daily habit to read life changing books, listen to expert podcast, and learn further in any way I can the secrets of the most successful people and the top performing sales professionals in order to achieve my goals and attain a high quality lifestyle.

Some of the training and courses I’ve attended, and Authors I read or listen to include:
Vector Marketing Corporation 6 years (Direct Sales Training)
Liberty Mutual Insurance Sales Training (The “Wedge” sales training)
Worldventures – Make a Living… Living! (Travel and Lifestyle Community/Company)
Landmark Education – the full “Curriculum for Living” (Personal Development)

FreshBiz, Tony Robbins, Rabbi Daniel Lapin, Seth Godin, Brian TracyZig Ziglar, Tim FerrissDave Ramsey, Brendon Burchard, Michael Hyatt, Marc Accetta, Jon Vroman, and the list goes on and on…

As of this writing, I spend the bulk of my work hours involved in high-level B2B social-sales activities just like many other sales professionals. I’m on client calls, Salesforce, and LinkedIn for most of the day, building my business.

My clients are C level executives and other key decision makers of international companies (see my LinkedIn profile). I go through much of the struggles and wins most business and sales professionals experience on a daily basis. I’m going to share my daily experiences from business, tricks and tips that work well, distinctions and success principles I implement in my business activities and my life around it. Hopefully it will make a huge difference for you, your career, and your life!

I believe that business success and life success are one in the same: Doing whatever it takes to achieve your goals.

Simply put, there is no use in separating your work from your personal “life” because either way you set goals and work hard to achieve them – Success. Period. Anyone who ever achieved success at some level speaks the same language about the same principles in one form or another.

Form my own learning I know that Business, Sales, and Life Success is teachable and learnable. So I’ve dissected my personal version of those principles, express them in my own way, and adapt them to my life. In #pluggedin, I share what I have learned that really works for me, and how amazing the journey has been thus far.

What’s most exciting is that the best has yet to come – After 15 years I’m just getting started!
